September 19th  -  Welcome Back Party!

Join us for our annual “Welcome Back Bag Lunch Party!”  This year, DJ Joey G, otherwise known as Joe Garamella, will be providing background music which will allow us to socialize and eat while listening to a broad range of of melodies. Joe is no stranger to us.  He has been the DJ at numerous parish and community events.

October 17th  -  Elder Scams: What to Watch Out for in 2023

United States Secret Service Agent Jason Verdino will speak with us about the most common elder scams in 2023, point out red flags and warning signs, dos and don’ts in a variety of situations, and what to do if you are a victim of a scammer.  Scams are more sophisticated than ever, and we all need to learn how to protect ourselves.
 

Nov 14th  -  Beyond the Sea: The Life & Times of Bobby Darin

Who doesn’t remember Bobby Darin, the gifted musician, singer, songwriter and actor, who performed in a variety of genres, and gave us such notable songs as “Splish Splash,” “Dream Lover,” “Mack the Knife,” and “Beyond the Sea”?  Well, brace yourself for a trip down Memory Lane. Today, Jimmy Scalia, the official Bobby Darin archivist, will present a lecture that will entertain and enlighten us through audio and video about the life and music of Bobby Darin.

January 16th  -  Winter Bingo

Because of popular demand, we are bringing Bingo back again this year, with two changes.  We will be charging for the boards, and we will be awarding cash prizes.

February 20th  -  The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes

February 11, 2024, will mark the 166th anniversary of the first apparition of Our Lady to Bernadette Soubirous.  Join us for another captivating presentation from Fr. Lynx Soliman as he tells us about his recent journey the the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes.
 

March 19th  -  St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon

Traditional Corned Beef & Cabbage dinner, catered by Jack’s Café.

April 24th  -  “Moments to Remember”   

Join us for a three course, sit-down luncheon, and a performance of “Moments to Remember” with music from the 50s, 60s and 70s performed by Joe Zisa and Friends and the Jersey Dreamers.  Enjoy great food and drink, laughter, singing and dancing.

May 21st  -  Marian Devotion

Join the Saint Aloysius Seniors, Rosary Society and Social Concerns Ministry in honoring Our Blessed Mother Mary in a Marian Devotion consisting of a prayer service and recitation of the Rosary.  Dessert will be served in the parish hall.
 

June 18th  -  End of the Year Barbeque

Traditional barbecue: hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, salads, and more, catered by Eight Hills.
