Rev. Lynx J. M. Soliman was born in Newark, New Jersey to a Cuban family. Growing up in the North Ward section of Newark, the family parish was the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart. He attended Our Lady of Good Counsel parochial school in Newark. Fr. Soliman studied at Florida International University in Miami, where he majored in Communication, and where he lived for 20 years. He would later work in finance for 10 years, until he encountered the Emmanuel Community through a friend, and would eventually move to Europe in order to discern his vocation and work in mission with the Community. Returning to the U.S., He decided to move back to New Jersey and eventually enter Immaculate Conception Seminary at Seton Hall in 2014, where he received a Masters in Divinity and a Masters in Systematic Theology. Fr. Soliman speaks four languages: English, Spanish, French and Italian. He is looking forward to the mission the Lord has in store for him at Saint Aloysius!
