Saint Aloysius Parish was founded in 1892 in Caldwell. The parish was the original "mother church" of the West Essex area of the Archdiocese of Newark. Our parishioners have given of themselves to make the parish what it is today: a community that prays, grows, and serves together in the name of Jesus Christ.

We are a vibrant parish family with a strong history, lively present, and hope-filled future. Through our ministry and mission here, we lead people to Jesus and empower them to live as His disciples.

Through Religious Education and the OCIA, we raise up disciples who can boldly live their faith.

In each of our ministries and groups, we build community, strengthen bonds, and cooperate with the Holy Spirit in our lives.
