It is a great joy to be with you here at Saint Aloysius Parish as your new Pastor! I am excited to be here and look forward to meeting each of you and working together to do the Lord's work. As I always say, no Pastor can do it alone. We all must be willing to share our gifts and talents to proclaim the Gospel and give witness to our faith. I am counting on your willingness to be part of this exciting adventure and very much need your support. I have heard such wonderful things about this great parish and know that the Lord wants to use us all to do His work in our community.
My biography is in today's bulletin (and available by clicking here), so you can get a sense of my background. My role as Regional/Episcopal Vicar of Essex County often takes me out of the parish for meetings in Newark, Confirmations and Pastor Installations, so please be patient with me and understand that I may not always be as present to the parish as I would want to be. However, make no mistake that the parish is my first priority!
I believe that open communication is essential and pride myself on being accessible and responsive. Please know that I am always open to your feedback, suggestions and input. I can be reached directly by e-mail at [email protected]. Never hesitate to reach out to me and I will always respond promptly. I know that change is never easy for any of us, so let's be patient with one another as we work together!
May the Lord bless this new chapter in the life of St. Aloysius Parish! I realized recently that if I should be blessed to be with you for a full twelve years, this will be my last assignment before retirement. If that is the case, I look forward to growing old with you! With God's help, may we have many happy and fruitful years together!
